Valve added a reworked version of Cache to Counter-Strike 2 in late April 2026, placing it in Competitive, Casual, Deathmatch, and Retakes modes while issuing follow-up patches for clipping, collision, and sound issues into May. Despite strong community demand and the map’s history in the active duty pool from 2014–2019, it has not yet entered the Premier map pool that defines ranked and pro play. Traders are weighing Valve’s deliberate rollout pace, the need to maintain balance across the current rotation, and potential roster shifts or map removals before any further integration. Recent form in the pro scene shows continued focus on established maps, leaving Cache’s timeline for full map-pool inclusion dependent on upcoming Valve updates and feedback cycles.
