Caitlin Clark holds the top position in trader consensus for WNBA assists per game leader at 57 percent implied probability, driven by her current 8.3 APG pace through 29 games for the Indiana Fever and her established role as the primary facilitator in a high-usage offense. Alyssa Thomas sits at 40.5 percent as the Phoenix Mercury forward trails narrowly at 8.2 APG while leading the league in total assists across 33 games, reflecting her consistent playmaking efficiency and durability. Jordin Canada follows distantly at 2.9 percent with 7.5-7.6 APG for Atlanta, while the remaining field including Sabrina Ionescu, Olivia Miles, and others trails below 2 percent amid lower per-game rates. Recent stat updates through mid-August show Clark and Thomas trading narrow leads in APG, with Clark's scoring volume and assist-to-turnover profile sustaining her edge in market positioning despite Thomas's greater games-played advantage.

In the event of a tie for the highest assists per game average, this market will resolve in favor of the player who appeared in the greater number of games. If the tied players also played the same number of games, the market will resolve in favor of the player whose listed last name comes first alphabetically.
Qualification for inclusion in official WNBA leaderboards (such as minimum games or statistical thresholds) will be determined according to WNBA rules and applied exactly as reflected in the official leaderboard.
If the 2026 WNBA regular season is cancelled, postponed after October 8, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or if an official leader has not been declared within that timeframe, this market will resolve to "Other".
The resolution source will be the WNBA (https://stats.wnba.com/players/traditional/).
