Iga Swiatek and Elena Rybakina meet in the National Bank Open final on outdoor hard courts in Toronto, with both players arriving on strong recent form. Swiatek, who has dropped sets sparingly during her run, advanced past Diana Shnaider in the quarterfinals and Elina Svitolina in the semifinals while extending her strong hard-court results this summer. Rybakina, the Australian Open champion and current world No. 2, defeated Coco Gauff in the semifinals after navigating a competitive draw. Their career head-to-head stands nearly even at 6-6 overall, with Swiatek holding a slight edge on outdoor hard courts. Surface speed, serving patterns, and recent match fitness will shape outcomes in this high-stakes encounter.
