Lim Jonghoon enters the WTT Contender Zagreb 2026 matchup with strong recent momentum, including a Round of 32 victory over higher-ranked Dimitrij Ovtcharov and a 3-2 win over local qualifier Frane Kojic. The South Korean left-hander, a former world No. 11 with Olympic mixed-doubles experience, brings proven attacking consistency but sits outside the top 40 in current ITTF rankings. Tomislav Pucar, ranked No. 29, holds a slight edge in world ranking and benefits from home-crowd support at Arena Zagreb as the Croatian right-hander. Their 2025 Zagreb encounter saw Pucar prevail 3-1, though Lim has shown improved form in 2026 events across multiple WTT stops. Surface speed, serve-receive patterns, and short-term recovery between rounds remain key variables in this best-of-seven singles contest.
