Evialina Laskevich enters the ITF W35 Zhengzhou final on hard courts after a strong run that includes straight-sets victories over Chen Y. and Rinko Matsuda, showcasing improved consistency from her WTA ranking of 789. Chinese player Jiaqi Wang, ranked 419 and competing at home, advanced with a recent win over Han Shi and holds a modest edge in professional experience. The matchup pits Laskevich’s recent momentum against Wang’s higher ranking and local familiarity, with traders viewing the contest as competitive given both players’ limited main-tour pedigrees and the small draw size. No prior head-to-head exists, and both remain active on the ITF circuit with fluctuating form typical at this level.
