Zhu enters on a five-fight win streak, including his Road to UFC Season 3 tournament title, and brings a 21-4 record with southpaw pressure and power punching into his home-country debut. Taveras, at 10-4 with two recent UFC losses by decision, had offered grappling defense and veteran experience that no longer factors into the original booking. The late change compresses camp time for both sides and removes any pre-withdrawal experience edge, altering the competitive dynamics reflected in current trader consensus.
