The race for most assists in the 2026 Stanley Cup Finals remains tightly bunched because the Carolina Hurricanes and Vegas Golden Knights series features distributed secondary scoring rather than a single dominant playmaker. Multiple forwards and defensemen from both clubs enter with comparable per-game rates and recent playoff momentum, including Mitch Marner and Jack Eichel on the Golden Knights alongside Taylor Hall, Jackson Blake, and Jordan Staal on the Hurricanes. Power-play units, line combinations, and short-series variance further spread opportunities, while depth contributions from players such as Shea Theodore, Ivan Barbashev, and Seth Jarvis prevent any one skater from separating. Trader consensus reflects this balanced distribution across the field.
