Recent Valve updates expanding trade-up contracts to include souvenir items and improving storage unit functionality have injected momentum into the CS2 sticker economy, much like a midseason roster tweak boosting a contender's playoff push. Community speculation links these changes to potential sticker trade-ups ahead of the Cologne 2026 major, creating competitive balance as traders weigh Valve's pattern of gradual system expansions against its history of deliberate pacing on economy-altering features. No official confirmation exists, keeping "No" as a narrow favorite at 53% implied probability. Further patch notes or capsule adjustments could tilt odds toward "Yes," while prolonged silence through summer events might reinforce delay.
