Ergi Kirkin and Marat Sharipov enter this Istanbul Challenger doubles opener as wild-card recipients in their home event, facing Ramkumar Ramanathan and NVS Prashanth. The Indian pairing brings greater combined experience from recent ATP Challenger appearances, including a round-of-16 showing in Oeiras, while Kirkin and Sharipov rely on local familiarity and recent individual form on the surface. No confirmed injuries or lineup changes have emerged for either side ahead of the May 18 start. Head-to-head history is limited, leaving recent tournament results and surface adaptation as the primary variables shaping trader views on the outcome.
