Trader consensus favors Belgium at 67.5% implied probability to win Group G, reflecting their No. 9 FIFA ranking, deep squad with players like Thibaut Courtois and Jeremy Doku, and historical edge over lower-ranked foes like Egypt (29th), Iran (21st), and New Zealand (85th). Recent squad announcements underscore dynamics: New Zealand named Chris Wood to lead their attack despite his injury-hit season, offering upset potential but cementing their 2.8% longshot status; Iran's team drew massive Tehran crowds for a send-off yesterday before a Turkey training camp, boosting morale for their 9.6% bid. Egypt (17%) banks on Mohamed Salah amid prep friendlies versus Russia and Brazil, while Belgium manages Romelu Lukaku's absence from recent matches due to injuries and off-field issues, yet retains clear group dominance ahead of the June 15 opener against Egypt in Seattle.
