Trader consensus assigns an overwhelming 98.5% implied probability to no woman completing a Calendar Grand Slam in 2026, underscoring the extreme difficulty of winning the Australian Open, French Open, Wimbledon, and US Open in one season. The grueling four-surface schedule, combined with elite depth in the WTA rankings and frequent injury disruptions, has prevented any player from achieving the feat since Steffi Graf in 1988. Recent results from the 2026 Australian Open and ongoing French Open preparations highlight how even top contenders like Elena Rybakina face mounting challenges in sustaining form across clay, grass, and hard courts while managing recovery and travel. A realistic shift would require one player to dominate all surfaces without setbacks and outpace the field through the remainder of the year.
