Philip Sekulic enters the Bengaluru 2 Challenger first-round matchup as the clear trader favorite over local player Digvijay Pratap Singh, reflecting his superior No. 357 ATP ranking versus Singh's No. 571 and stronger 14-10 record this year on hard courts. Sekulic recently reached the second round in Wuxi Challenger before falling to Alafia Ayeni, building on his March ITF M25 title win over Karan Singh, while Singh exited early last week in Brazzaville Challenger to the same opponent. With no head-to-head history between the 6'3" right-handers—who both leverage big serves—Sekulic's Challenger experience edges out Singh's home-court motivation and recent Ahmedabad quarterfinal. Clear skies and mild Bengaluru weather pose no delays, and no injury concerns reported.
