Cheuk Ying Shek enters the ITF W15 Toyama semifinals with a stronger 2026 singles record of 13-6 and a current ranking of 691 compared to Kanon Sawashiro’s 933. The 21-year-old Hong Kong player has shown consistent hard-court form this season, while the 17-year-old Japanese prospect holds a 2-0 head-to-head advantage from prior meetings. No major injuries or withdrawals have been reported, leaving the outcome dependent on execution in the upcoming hard-court clash.
