Scottie Scheffler holds a commanding two-shot lead entering the final round of the 2026 FedEx St. Jude Championship at TPC Southwind after rounds of 68-61-68, including a course-record-tying 61 in round two that featured 11 birdies. As the world No. 1 with elite ball-striking and putting metrics, Scheffler has converted similar leads at signature events through consistent approach play and par saves on moving day. The field’s depth, including players like Matt Fitzpatrick and Cameron Young in striking distance, creates theoretical upset paths, yet the two-shot margin plus Scheffler’s recent playoff positioning and historical dominance at this venue reinforce the market’s near-certain pricing. A late-round collapse or weather delay could theoretically reopen the outcome, though such shifts remain rare given the current leaderboard separation.
