The Swiss Super League's 2026-27 runner-up market remains tightly bunched because the 12-team field features comparable squad depth and early-season parity among established sides like Young Boys, Basel, Lugano, St. Gallen, and Servette alongside promoted FC Vaduz and defending champions FC Thun. The split-format structure, with a championship round for the top six, amplifies small differences in form, home/away splits, and injury recoveries that can shift positions quickly. Recent match results show narrow margins and rotating leadership, while roster stability and European commitments create variable rest advantages that traders view as evenly distributed across the group. This balance sustains broad implied probabilities without a clear second-place frontrunner.

If at any point it becomes impossible for a listed participant to finish as runner-up of Swiss Super League for the 2026-27 season per the rules of Swiss Super League (e.g., the participant is eliminated), the corresponding market will resolve to "No".
If multiple teams are declared as second-place finishers, this market will resolve in favor of the team whose listed name comes first alphabetically.
If this event is cancelled, postponed after July 31, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, or a runner-up has not been declared within this timeframe, this market will resolve to "Other".
The resolution source will be official information from the Swiss Super League; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
