Claudio Lotito’s repeated public denials of any Lazio sale, combined with his June 2026 completion of the Reggina takeover in Serie D, underpin the slight trader lean toward “No.” Persistent fan unrest—including Curva Nord boycotts, empty Stadio Olimpico seats, and protests over results and governance—creates competitive balance by raising questions about long-term sustainability in Serie A. Political tensions in Rome and past rejected bids around €450 million add uncertainty. A confirmed takeover agreement or intensified external pressure could shift odds toward “Yes,” while sustained ownership stability or legal barriers would reinforce the current consensus.
