Claudio Lotito’s repeated official denials of any sale talks, combined with his focus on clearing Lazio’s remaining tax debts by 2027 and advancing the Flaminio Stadium redevelopment, underpin the slim 51.5% trader lean toward “No” for a 2026 transaction. Persistent Serie A struggles and fan ultras boycotts have kept takeover speculation alive, yet no verified bids have surfaced since Qatari interest was categorically rejected in February. A concrete offer exceeding Lotito’s reported €850 million valuation or further on-field deterioration could shift sentiment toward “Yes,” while confirmed stadium approvals or improved league results would likely reinforce the current balance.
