Stephen Wilson Jr. holds a narrow lead in trader sentiment following the September 10 CMA Awards nominations, bolstered by his four total nods—including Song and Music Video of the Year for the acclaimed single “Gary”—which signal strong industry momentum and cross-category visibility. Tucker Wetmore sits close behind as a repeat nominee with prior ACM success, while Emily Ann Roberts, Avery Anna, and Carter Faith trail amid a highly competitive field of five. With the November 18 ceremony still weeks away, voter sentiment could shift based on late promotional pushes, chart performance, and guild or critic feedback, though Wilson’s broader recognition gives him the clearest edge in this tightly contested race.
