The Esports World Cup 2026 Korea Qualifier features a double-elimination bracket among nine LCK squads excluding defending champions Gen.G, with the top two advancing to Riyadh. T1 and Dplus KIA currently lead the upper bracket after strong 2-0 and 2-1 victories, driven by mid-season LCK form, effective Fearless Draft execution, and standout play from players like Peyz on T1 and Siwoo in the top lane for DK. Lower-bracket action resumes May 18 with KT Rolster facing BRION and DN SOOPers against Nongshim RedForce, while the upper-bracket final is set for May 25. Recent roster moves, including BNK FearX reinstating Vicla and adding Taeyoon, continue to influence team depth and competitive balance heading into the final qualification stages.
