Mercedes has established clear early-season dominance in the 2026 Formula 1 constructors' championship through superior power-unit performance under the new technical regulations, securing victories in the opening four grands prix and building a substantial points lead. Rivals McLaren and Ferrari responded with extensive aerodynamic upgrade packages at the Miami round, yet the Silver Arrows maintained their advantage through better overall package balance and energy management. This consistent form has shaped trader sentiment, positioning Mercedes as the clear frontrunner while McLaren and Ferrari retain realistic recovery potential through ongoing development. The rest of the grid trails significantly, with limited scope for late-season shifts given the current performance hierarchy.
