MSI 2026 runs June 28–July 12 in Daejeon with an 11-team field (two each from LCK, LPL, LEC, LCS, and LCP plus one CBLOL squad), featuring a four-team play-in double-elimination bracket followed by an eight-team main bracket of best-of-five series. The tournament has not yet begun, so trader focus centers on historical MSI pentakill rates—typically low single digits across dozens of maps—alongside the current patch 26.13 champion pool, the prevalence of high-damage or snowballing carries, and expected game volume from extended series. Regional qualifiers show strong LCK and LPL squads alongside potential mismatches from wildcard regions that could produce more one-sided maps, while close high-level matchups tend to suppress multikills. Recent LCK Road to MSI games and pre-tournament form provide the latest data points on individual players capable of chaining kills, though pro coordination and vision control keep pentakills infrequent overall.
