Aleksandre Bakshi enters this M15 Hurghada 6 semifinal as the more experienced player on hard courts, with a current ATP ranking near 715 and strong recent results in the event, including three-set victories over Bisht, Kandil, and Bessonov. The 29-year-old Georgian has compiled an 11-10 singles record in 2026, leaning on consistent hard-court performances across ITF and limited Challenger events. Aaron Funk, a 20-year-old German ranked around 939, brings recent momentum from lower-level wins but has competed primarily on clay this summer, with mixed outcomes in M25 and M15 events. The hard surface in Egypt favors Bakshi’s established baseline game and tournament familiarity, though Funk’s youth and serving potential create room for an upset in a first-time matchup.
