This market will resolve to "Yes" if the listed team is relegated from Japan J. League at the conclusion of the 2026-27 Japan J. League season. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No". Official relegation is defined as a team losing its place in Japan J. League for the following season through their final standing in the 2026-27 Japan J. League, via relegation playoff defeat, or by any other official league decision recognized by Japan J. League. If the 2026-27 Japan J. League season is cancelled, postponed after June 30, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, or there are no teams confirmed for relegation within that timeframe, the corresponding market will resolve to "No". The primary resolution source will be official announcements from Japan J. League. A consensus of credible reporting may also be used.**Early 2026–27 J1 League standings after four rounds show JEF United Chiba winless at the bottom with zero points and a -11 goal difference, followed by Tokyo Verdy (2 points) and a cluster of teams on three points including V-Varen Nagasaki, Urawa Reds, Shimizu S-Pulse, and Avispa Fukuoka.** Newly promoted sides JEF Chiba and V-Varen Nagasaki, along with returning or inconsistent clubs, occupy the lower positions while traditional powers like Urawa Reds have started poorly with heavy defeats. The bottom three finishers face automatic relegation to J2, with one additional spot potentially decided via playoff; the long 38-match schedule means current form, squad reinforcements, home/away splits, and fixture congestion will drive further shifts before the May 2027 conclusion.
