**Early in the Apertura 2026, several Liga MX sides have posted comparable defensive records through the first 7–8 matchdays, keeping the 2026-27 most clean sheets market tightly bunched.** Guadalajara (Chivas) and Club América lead with four clean sheets and just six goals conceded each, while Toluca, Pachuca, and Tijuana sit close behind with three shutouts and similarly stingy backlines. These results reflect disciplined organization, effective high presses, and goalkeeper consistency rather than any single dominant unit. UNAM Pumas, CF Monterrey, Toluca, and Pachuca hold the highest implied probabilities in trader consensus, reflecting their recent form, historical clean-sheet tendencies, and squad depth in defense. With 30-plus regular-season matches still ahead across both short tournaments and no team pulling away decisively, the race remains open. Late-season injuries, fixture congestion, or shifts in playing style could easily reorder the standings before the Clausura concludes.
