The 2026-27 Liga MX top goalscorer market remains tightly bunched early in the Apertura campaign, with no player establishing clear separation after nine matchdays. Salomón Rondón leads with eight goals for Pachuca, but a deep group including Lucas Ocampos, Óscar Estupiñán, Juninho, Juan Brunetta, and several others sits on four or five goals, reflecting balanced attacking contributions across multiple clubs. Recent results show distributed scoring from set pieces, counters, and open play, while roster depth, fixture congestion, and the absence of a proven repeat scorer from the prior season keep implied probabilities compressed. Trader consensus views the race as wide open through the remainder of the regular season and playoffs.

Only goals scored in Liga MX matches will count. Goals scored in other competitions (e.g., Campeon de Campeones, CONCACAF Champions Cup, Leagues Cup, international matches) will not count for this market.
Goals scored during the Apertura, Clausura and Liguilla will all count toward this market's resolution.
If multiple players tie for the top goal scorer, this market will resolve to the tied player who scores fewer goals from penalty kicks during all phases of the 2026-27 Liga MX season. If a tie still persists, this market will resolve in favor of the tied player with the higher xG during all phases of the 2026-27 Liga MX season. If a tie still persists, this market will resolve in favor of the tied player whose last name comes first alphabetically.
If the 2026-27 Liga MX season is canceled or not completed by June 27, 2027, the market will resolve to "Other".
The primary resolution source will be official statistics from Liga MX. A consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
