Paris Saint-Germain enter the 2026-27 Ligue 1 campaign as five-time defending champions with overwhelming trader support at 86.5% implied probability, driven by their sustained domestic supremacy, recent back-to-back Champions League triumphs, and superior squad depth under Luis Enrique. The club's financial resources and consistent recruitment have widened the gap over rivals, as evidenced by their latest UEFA Super Cup victory and strong pre-season positioning ahead of the August 21 kickoff. Marseille, Monaco, Lille, and Lens trail significantly in the standings projections, reflecting limited recent form or roster upgrades capable of closing the divide. Key factors that could still shift outcomes include major injuries to PSG's core players, unexpected late-season momentum from challengers, or prolonged fixture congestion affecting squad rotation.
