This market will resolve to the player who wins the 2026 American League Rookie of the Year award for the 2026 MLB Season. In the event of a tie, this market will resolve according to the official winner as determined by MLB rules. If multiple winners are announced then this market will resolve to the player whose listed last name comes first alphabetically. If the 2026 MLB season is cancelled, postponed after December 31, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or there is otherwise no winner declared within that timeframe, this market will resolve to “Other”. The resolution source for this market will be official information from Major League Baseball; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.Kevin McGonigle and Munetaka Murakami remain locked in a tight contest for AL Rookie of the Year honors, each priced near 37 percent amid strong early-season performances that have kept the field bunched. McGonigle has posted elite on-base numbers and led rookies in hits and doubles through mid-May, benefiting from a prominent lineup spot and recent contract extension that signals long-term stability. Murakami counters with MLB-leading rookie home-run totals and top-tier slugging, driven by his power profile since arriving from Japan. Chase DeLauter and Kazuma Okamoto trail as the next tier, with consistent but less dominant production that has not shifted the trader consensus. Recent form in power versus contact metrics continues to anchor the market's balanced view of the race.
