This market will resolve to the player who wins the 2026 American League Rookie of the Year award for the 2026 MLB Season. In the event of a tie, this market will resolve according to the official winner as determined by MLB rules. If multiple winners are announced then this market will resolve to the player whose listed last name comes first alphabetically. If the 2026 MLB season is cancelled, postponed after December 31, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or there is otherwise no winner declared within that timeframe, this market will resolve to “Other”. The resolution source for this market will be official information from Major League Baseball; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.Munetaka Murakami and Kevin McGonigle remain neck-and-neck in the AL Rookie of the Year race as their early-season production keeps trader consensus tightly bunched. Murakami has powered the White Sox lineup with consistent home-run output, including a multi-homer effort in mid-May that extended his streak of extra-base impact across series. McGonigle, the Tigers' 21-year-old infielder, counters with elite contact skills, defensive versatility, and steady on-base contributions that have sustained his status among top prospects. Chase DeLauter adds depth with his athleticism in Cleveland's outfield, while international additions like Kazuma Okamoto provide supporting context for a competitive class anchored in the AL Central. This balance of power, all-around play, and recent form explains the narrow spread in implied probabilities.
