This market will resolve to the player who wins the 2026 National League Comeback Player of the Year award for the 2026 MLB Season. In the event of a tie, this market will resolve according to the official winner as determined by MLB rules. If multiple winners are announced then this market will resolve to the player whose listed last name comes first alphabetically. If the 2026 MLB season is cancelled, postponed after December 31, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or there is otherwise no winner declared within that timeframe, this market will resolve to “Other”. The resolution source for this market will be official information from Major League Baseball; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.Zack Wheeler’s recovery from thoracic outlet syndrome surgery, including rib removal, and late-April 2026 debut anchor his 69.5% implied probability in the NL Comeback Player of the Year market. The Phillies right-hander has posted a career-best sub-2.20 ERA over roughly 100 innings while posting double-digit strikeouts in multiple outings, fueling Philadelphia’s midseason turnaround after an early slump. Sandy Alcantara’s 13-7 record and 3.43 ERA with the Marlins support his second-place standing at 13%, reflecting steady innings and strikeout volume following prior workload concerns. Tanner Scott, Brandon Woodruff, and Michael Harris II occupy lower shares amid their respective bullpen contributions, injury recoveries, and outfield production, though none match Wheeler’s combination of elite results and clear adversity narrative. Market pricing reflects the wisdom of crowds weighting confirmed performance and official medical timelines most heavily.
