Layne Riggs holds a slim three-point lead in the 2026 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series Chase standings after 19 races, but Kaden Honeycutt’s market edge reflects superior consistency across the regular season and fewer late-race setbacks. Riggs secured six wins and dominated early stages at Bristol before a loose wheel and pit-road issues dropped him to 32nd, trimming his advantage over Honeycutt. The TRICON Garage Toyota driver, with 14 top-10 finishes and strong equipment continuity, recovered to eighth despite similar mechanical woes. Chandler Smith, Ty Majeski, and Giovanni Ruggiero remain within striking distance in the seven-race playoff format, where stage points, reliability, and avoiding DNFs will determine the champion amid a compressed points gap.
