This market will resolve to the player who wins the 2026 NBA Finals Most Valuable Player award for the 2026 NBA Playoffs. In the event of a tie, this market will resolve according to the official winner as determined by NBA rules. If multiple winners are announced then this market will resolve to the player whose listed last name comes first alphabetically. If the 2026 NBA Playoffs are cancelled, postponed after June 30, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or there is otherwise no winner declared within that timeframe, this market will resolve to “Other”. The resolution source for this market will be official information from the NBA; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.Trader consensus positions Shai Gilgeous-Alexander as the clear leader for NBA Finals MVP with an implied probability near 55 percent, reflecting Oklahoma City’s status as the Western Conference’s top seed and his continued dominance as reigning MVP. The Thunder’s elite regular-season record and strong playoff form give them the clearest path to the title, boosting expectations that Gilgeous-Alexander will again deliver high-volume scoring and playmaking in decisive games. Victor Wembanyama sits second at 23 percent amid San Antonio’s impressive run as the No. 2 seed, though the Spurs face a tougher matchup in the conference finals. Lower-probability names such as Julius Randle, Jalen Brunson, and Cade Cunningham reflect Eastern Conference contenders whose teams hold realistic but longer odds of advancing far enough for their stars to claim the award.
