The Big Ten's exceptional depth at quarterback keeps the 2026 passing touchdowns race wide open, with trader consensus reflecting probabilities clustered tightly around 42-50% across more than two dozen candidates. Early non-conference results show Josh Hoover already delivering eight touchdowns in two games for Indiana while Jayden Maiava has posted 10 through three outings at USC, yet established returners like Julian Sayin at Ohio State and Dante Moore at Oregon remain prominent after efficient 2025 campaigns exceeding 30 touchdowns each. Transfers such as Hoover and Anthony Colandrea, plus young starters including Bryce Underwood and Demond Williams Jr., add further uncertainty as conference play begins, with offensive line stability, receiver talent, and schedule strength poised to shape final tallies over the remaining regular season.
