The tightly bunched Polymarket prices around 48-50% for dozens of quarterbacks reflect a wide-open race for the 2026 NFL interceptions leader, driven by overlapping risk profiles across starters. High-volume passers such as Geno Smith, Baker Mayfield, Trevor Lawrence, C.J. Stroud, and Cam Ward operate in offenses with new schemes or supporting casts that elevate turnover potential, while second-year options like Jaxson Dart and Tyler Shough face regression after below-expectation interception rates as rookies. Veterans including Dak Prescott, Matthew Stafford, and Aaron Rodgers add to the mix through age-related inconsistencies or situational factors like limited weapons and aggressive play-calling. This broad field of comparable candidates, combined with preseason uncertainty over exact workloads and lineups, sustains the competitive equilibrium reflected in current trader consensus.
