The 2026 NFL rushing touchdowns race remains tightly contested in trader pricing, with Jahmyr Gibbs and Kimani Vidal holding the narrowest edges near 23% and 22% implied probability amid a broad field. Early-season dynamics keep probabilities clustered because most lead backs face committee or rotation risks, variable goal-line usage, and schedule strength that can shift volume quickly. Gibbs benefits from an expanded Lions role following David Montgomery’s departure, yet Detroit’s offense spreads opportunities across multiple contributors. Vidal’s Chargers backfield projects for meaningful work but lacks proven red-zone dominance. Veterans such as Derrick Henry and Jonathan Taylor retain solid shares due to proven efficiency and team schemes, while emerging options like TreVeyon Henderson and Ashton Jeanty introduce further uncertainty. Official injury reports, weekly snap counts, and offensive line health will drive the widest subsequent moves as the regular season unfolds.
