With the 2026 NFL season still weeks from kickoff, trader consensus on the team rushing yards leader remains evenly distributed because roster composition, offensive line health, and scheme emphasis are still fluid entering training camp. Multiple clubs feature deep backfields, elite run-blocking units, and coordinators prioritizing the ground game, while quarterback situations and defensive fronts will shape workload distribution. Recent free-agent signings, the 2026 draft class, and early camp reports highlight potential volume for teams like the Lions, Eagles, Ravens, and Bears, yet no single unit has separated itself. The broad distribution across AFC and NFC sides reflects this parity, with late injuries, in-season trades, or scheme adjustments still capable of shifting outcomes before the regular-season schedule concludes.
