Both the Dallas Cowboys and Philadelphia Eagles enter the 2026 season as NFC East frontrunners with potent offenses led by Dak Prescott and Jalen Hurts, respectively, creating a balanced matchup for their two-game series. The Cowboys added defensive coordinator Christian Parker and secondary depth while retaining core weapons like CeeDee Lamb, though early injuries to safeties and cornerbacks have tested depth. The Eagles adjusted after trading A.J. Brown and installing a new offensive coordinator, leaning on a stout defense and run game, but face their own key absences including tight end Dallas Goedert. Historical splits in recent series, combined with home-field advantages in the October Monday night contest and Thanksgiving rematch, sustain tight trader consensus around either side claiming the series or forcing a tie.
