This market will resolve to "Yes" if the listed player is the first running back to reach 1,000 rushing yards in the 2026-27 NFL regular season. Otherwise, the associated market will resolve to "No". A player reaches 1,000 rushing yards at the moment his cumulative 2026-27 NFL regular season rushing yards total equals or exceeds 1,000. Only regular season games count. Playoff games, including Wild Card, Divisional, Conference Championship, and Pro Football Championship games, do not count. If two or more running backs reach 1,000 rushing yards within the same game, or in separate games that have the same scheduled kickoff time, the market for each such player who reaches the mark will resolve to "Yes". If the listed player does not play in the 2026-27 NFL regular season for any reason, the associated market will resolve to "No". If the 2026-27 NFL regular season is shortened, truncated, or ends early for any reason, the outcome shall be determined using available official data for completed games. If the 2026-27 NFL regular season is cancelled, postponed after January 26, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, or it cannot be determined which running back first reached 1,000 rushing yards within that timeframe, this market will resolve to "50-50". The resolution source for this market will be official information from the NFL; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used. After Week 1 of the 2026 NFL season, Kenneth Walker III leads rushing yards with 173 on 23 carries for the Chiefs, followed closely by Jahmyr Gibbs (156) and Derrick Henry (144), giving these backs early momentum in the race to 1,000 yards. Strong offensive lines, favorable early matchups, and high-volume roles in run-heavy schemes for teams like the Bears, Lions, and Ravens shape current trader focus, while workload management, injury reports, and tougher upcoming schedules for contenders like the Colts' Jonathan Taylor or Falcons' Bijan Robinson remain key variables. Historical patterns show that consistent 20-plus carry games and favorable weather or divisional play often determine who pulls ahead first in a typical 17-game campaign.
