Kirk Cousins holds a dominant 92% implied probability as the Raiders' Week 1 starter due to head coach Klint Kubiak's repeated confirmations that the veteran will open training camp as QB1 and receive the majority of first-team reps. The 37-year-old, signed in April 2026 to a one-year deal reuniting him with Kubiak, provides proven stability ahead of rookie first-overall pick Fernando Mendoza and returning signal-caller Aidan O'Connell. Recent camp reports emphasize Cousins' experience and the team's bridge strategy, which aligns with the market's heavy favoritism. An injury during the remainder of camp or preseason could open the door for Mendoza, though the current setup makes a sudden shift unlikely.

In the event two listed quarterbacks take the field on the first offensive play of the Las Vegas Raiders’ Week 1 game, this market will resolve in favor of the player directly receiving the snap. If neither listed quarterback directly receives the snap, this market will resolve in favor of the player whose listed last name comes first alphabetically.
If Week 1 of the 2026-27 NFL regular season is cancelled, postponed after September 30, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or no official starter has taken the field within that timeframe, this market will resolve to “Other”.
The resolution source for this market will be official information from the NFL and/or the Las Vegas Raiders; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
