Napoli holds a narrow two-point lead over Juventus for second place in Serie A after 36 matchdays, with 70 points to Juventus' 68, AC Milan's 67, Roma's 67, and Como's 65, fueling trader consensus at 80% implied probability amid a tight Champions League chase behind unbeatable Inter. A dramatic 2-3 stoppage-time loss to Bologna in matchday 36 halted Napoli's momentum but preserved their edge, as rivals like Milan (2-3 defeat to Atalanta) also faltered. Napoli's favorable run-in—hosting promoted Pisa and mid-table Udinese—contrasts tougher tests for pursuers, including Juventus at Fiorentina and Torino, plus Milan's tricky away at Genoa, underscoring the wisdom of crowds in pricing Napoli's positioning despite goal difference vulnerabilities.

In the event of a tie, this market will resolve to the team officially recognized by Serie A as finishing in second place. If multiple teams are officially awarded second place, the market will resolve to the team whose listed name comes first alphabetically.
If at any point it becomes impossible for the listed club to finish 2nd in the 2025-2026 Serie A season (e.g. they are mathematically unable to achieve enough points), the market will resolve to "No".
If the 2025-2026 Serie A season is cancelled, postponed after May 31, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or there is otherwise no 2nd place team declared within that timeframe, this market will resolve to “Other”.
The primary resolution source will be official information from Serie A. A consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
