The Uruguayan Primera División's relegation system, based on a two-season points-per-game average across 2025 and 2026, has created a tightly bunched battle for 13th place. Multiple mid-to-lower table sides, including recently promoted clubs like Albion, Central Español, and Deportivo Maldonado alongside established teams such as Danubio, Progreso, Cerro, and Montevideo Wanderers, sit within narrow margins in the aggregate table. Recent Clausura results show inconsistent form across this group, with no side establishing clear separation amid frequent draws and fluctuating goal differences. This parity, combined with remaining fixtures and the sensitivity of the averaged metric to each result, sustains the competitive equilibrium reflected in current trader pricing.
