Matthew Dellavedova enters the M25 Taipei 2 final as the clear trader favorite due to his ATP ranking near 300, extensive professional experience, and dominant recent hard-court form, including multiple straight-set victories in the draw against players like Kasidit Samrej and Kristjan Tamm. The 26-year-old Australian has compiled an 80-26 record in 2026 with consistent results across ITF events. Kuan-Shou Chen, an 18-year-old junior transitioning to the pro circuit, reached the final via wins over Omar Jasika and others but holds a far lower ranking and a mixed 5-5 hard-court record this season. The hard surface favors Dellavedova’s established game, though Chen’s local knowledge and recent momentum create limited upset potential in what traders view as a significant mismatch.
