Dusan Lajovic holds a narrow edge over Taro Daniel in the Quebec City Challenger qualifying final on outdoor hard courts, reflecting traders' view of closely matched veterans with Lajovic's higher ranking and strong head-to-head record. Lajovic enters with recent hard-court activity from Cincinnati and a straight-sets win in the prior qualifying round, while Daniel arrives after solid Challenger results earlier in 2026. Both players feature comparable experience on the surface, with limited rest concerns and no reported injuries or withdrawals affecting availability. The matchup's outcome hinges on baseline consistency and return play, as neither has dominated recent form enough to shift implied probabilities decisively.
