Both players compete at the lower reaches of the ITF circuit with ATP rankings in the 2000s, making this a closely matched M15 encounter on outdoor clay. Carroll enters with marginally stronger recent qualifying results and has shown better consistency on the surface in European events, while Haupt, a 20-year-old German, has mixed outcomes in recent M15 stops across Scandinavia and Germany, including several three-set battles. The head-to-head remains limited, and neither carries significant injury concerns or rest disadvantages into the round-of-32 clash. Trader consensus reflects these narrow edges through implied probabilities favoring Carroll, though the low ranking level leaves room for variance typical of futures-level tennis.
