Tessa Johanna Brockmann enters the ITF W35 Erwitte round-of-16 match on clay as the clear favorite, backed by a career-high WTA ranking near 254, strong recent form including multiple wins on the surface, and a 1-0 head-to-head edge over Daria Yesypchuk. Brockmann, a German player competing on home soil, has posted consistent results in lower-tier ITF events and advanced comfortably through earlier rounds. Yesypchuk, ranked around 516, has shown competitive singles results but faces a significant step up in opponent quality. Surface-specific experience and current momentum favor Brockmann, though lower-tier clay matches remain prone to variability from conditions or late adjustments.
