This market will resolve according to the listed song which holds the No.1 spot on the Billboard Hot 100 for the greatest number of weeks in the summer of 2026. For the purposes of this market, only Billboard Hot 100 charts with date labels for weeks in June, July, and August of 2026 will be considered. If more than one song is tied for greatest number of weeks in the No. 1 spot, this market will resolve in favor of the song whose title comes first in alphabetical order. Weeks in the No. 1 spot need not be consecutive. If the resolution source for this market becomes permanently unavailable, this market will resolve to "Other". The resolution source for this market will be the official Billboard Hot 100 charts, published on the Billboard website (https://www.billboard.com/charts/hot-100/).The 2026 Song of the Summer market remains wide open with no single track establishing clear momentum this early in the season. Multiple releases from established artists, including Ariana Grande's "hate that i made you love me" and tracks by Bebe Rexha, Dominic Fike, and Zara Larsson, trade in a tight band, reflecting fragmented streaming data, chart trajectories, and genre competition. Traders appear to weigh factors such as initial platform metrics, promotional pushes, and historical patterns where summer anthems often emerge from mid-season surges rather than debut weeks. Upcoming Billboard updates, viral moments, and festival exposure could quickly shift sentiment before Labor Day.
