Anna Leigh Waters enters the Veolia Arizona Open as the clear favorite in women's singles, backed by her extended winning streak, multiple recent titles, and status as the top seed on the PPA Tour. Draws released this week place strong challengers like Kaitlyn Christian in the top half and Kate Fahey, Lea Jansen, Brooke Buckner, and Sofia Sewing in the bottom half, yet historical head-to-head results and current form heavily favor Waters advancing through the bracket. Trader consensus reflects this dominance while assigning moderate implied probabilities to the next tier of contenders, acknowledging the wide-open nature of the field due to several top players sitting out and the potential for upsets in early rounds.
