This market will resolve according to the team that wins the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations. If at any point it becomes impossible for a listed team to win the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations per the rules of CAF (e.g., they are eliminated), the corresponding market will resolve to "No". If the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations is cancelled, postponed after July 31, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, or there is otherwise no winner declared within that timeframe, this market will resolve to "Other". The primary resolution source will be official information from CAF; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.African football's depth keeps the AFCON 2027 title race tightly bunched, with no team exceeding a modest implied probability edge. Morocco, Senegal, Egypt, Nigeria, Ivory Coast, Algeria, and DR Congo all carry strong recent form, deep Premier League and European rosters, and strong FIFA rankings that support their narrow leads. Qualification groups drawn in 2026 feature challenging draws for several contenders, while co-hosts Kenya, Tanzania, and Uganda benefit from automatic entry and home support across East Africa. The lingering CAS appeal over the disputed 2025 final and ongoing coaching transitions add uncertainty, but the competitive balance across multiple nations with proven knockout pedigree sustains the even market pricing.
