Kamil Majchrzak holds a modest edge over Benjamin Bonzi in their first-round Winston-Salem Open matchup on outdoor hard courts, driven by stronger recent results against higher-ranked opponents and a career-high ranking of No. 45 earlier in 2026. Majchrzak enters with a 18-17 record, including notable wins over players like Tommy Paul, while Bonzi sits at No. 100 with a 28-22 mark but has posted just a 4-7 record in 2026 ATP main-draw events and exited early in recent hard-court stops, including a Quebec City Challenger loss. Their head-to-head stands even at 1-1, though Majchrzak leads in overall games won. Both players have middling hard-court histories, leaving room for either to capitalize on serve efficiency and break-point conversion in what shapes up as a competitive opening-round encounter.
