This market will resolve to "Yes" if it is officially announced that Fnatic will be, has been, or is being acquired by or merged with another entity by the listed date, 11:59 PM ET. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No". Mergers or acquisitions involving Fnatic or a parent/subsidiary company will qualify. Announcements of partial sales may count, as long as the acquiring company acquires a controlling interest in Fnatic. A "controlling interest" refers to a change in ownership sufficient to control the company's strategic decisions (typically more than 50% of equity, or equivalent control via voting and governance rights). Transactions or investments that do not result in a transfer of controlling interest will not count. The primary resolution source for this market will be official information from Fnatic and the acquiring entity; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.Fnatic, a longstanding esports organization competing in leagues such as the LEC and VCT EMEA, has been exploring a potential sale or merger since December 2025 after engaging advisory firm Oakwell to gauge interest from sports investors and media companies seeking exposure to younger audiences. Reports indicated expressions of interest from football clubs, including a German side, alongside broader valuation discussions around $100–133 million. These developments have shaped trader sentiment around the timing of any formal announcement, with ongoing roster decisions, sponsorship activity, and organizational stability serving as key variables that could accelerate or delay a deal. Recent performance in international tournaments and any shifts in ownership discussions remain the primary factors likely to influence resolution.
