This market will resolve to "Yes" if the listed team is relegated from Ligue 1 at the conclusion of the 2026-27 Ligue 1 season. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No". Official relegation is defined as a team losing its place in Ligue 1 for the following season through their final standing in the 2026-27 Ligue 1, via relegation playoff defeat, or by any other official league decision recognized by Ligue 1. If the 2026-27 Ligue 1 season is cancelled, postponed after June 30, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, or there are no teams confirmed for relegation within that timeframe, the corresponding market will resolve to "No". The primary resolution source will be official announcements from Ligue 1. A consensus of credible reporting may also be used.**Newly promoted sides Troyes and Le Mans face the steepest challenges in the 2026-27 Ligue 1 season after strong Ligue 2 campaigns, with limited transfer activity, loss of key attackers, and modest squad valuations leaving them short on depth against established sides.** Models from Opta and others assign Le Mans the highest relegation probability (around 50-76% in simulations), followed closely by Troyes, due to their return after long absences and thin resources. Angers, despite a 13th-place finish in 2025-26, projects near the bottom amid squad turnover and coaching shifts, while Le Havre and Nice also appear vulnerable based on recent form and defensive issues. Early matchday results and the long 34-game schedule will test these teams' ability to adapt quickly, with the bottom two facing automatic relegation and 16th entering playoffs.
