This market will resolve to the coach who wins the 2026 MLS Coach of the Year award. In the event of a tie, this market will resolve according to the official winner as determined by MLS rules. If multiple winners are announced then this market will resolve to the player whose listed last name comes first alphabetically. If the 2026 MLS season is cancelled, postponed after December 31, 2026 ET, or there is otherwise no winner declared within that timeframe, this market will resolve to “Other”. The resolution source for this market will be official information from Major League Soccer; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used. With Vancouver Whitecaps atop the Western Conference standings under Jesper Sørensen, San Jose Earthquakes competitive in third place during Bruce Arena’s second season, and Real Salt Lake showing consistency in Pablo Mastroeni’s fifth year, trader sentiment reflects a tightly bunched field where multiple coaches post strong regular-season results through mid-August 2026. Dean Smith, B.J. Callaghan, and Ben Olsen also factor into the mix amid balanced team performances, recent roster adjustments, and no single side pulling away decisively in either conference. This distribution of results across several clubs, combined with varying schedule strengths and in-season form, keeps implied probabilities clustered in the high 30s to low 40s, underscoring the race’s competitive dynamics heading into the stretch run.
